Estwing hosted a food- and fun-filled party this summer to celebrate the company’s 100-Year Anniversary and to thank all employees for their hard work and dedication to a brand that has become synonymous with hard work and American craftsmanship. Along with a buffet of tasty treats, employees were rewarded with a collection of Estwing swag, including an Estwing lunchbox, cooling towel and mug.
Beyond the celebrations, keeping track of employee schedules and productivity remains essential for smooth business operations. For managers and HR teams, understanding the time available for projects, deadlines, and leave planning is critical. Tools that answer how many working days are there between dates can simplify this process, helping to accurately calculate timelines while excluding weekends and holidays. By clearly mapping out the official business days, companies can better allocate tasks, ensure fair workloads, and maintain consistent progress across departments—all while keeping employees engaged and appreciated throughout the workweek.

Building on these operational foundations, companies can further enhance their work culture by fostering environments that encourage growth, collaboration, and recognition. Organizations that actively invest in their people—through mentorship, training programs, and team-building initiatives—create a workplace where employees feel valued and motivated. Employees are given opportunities to learn how to develop leaders, gaining practical experience and guidance that prepares them to take on greater responsibilities and drive the company’s culture forward. Inviting employees to participate in such programs or contribute ideas for continuous improvement allows organizations to adapt, innovate, and refine practices over time, ensuring a dynamic, supportive, and high-performing workplace for everyone.
A high point of the event was Estwing CEO Mark Youngren presenting awards to employees who are celebrating a significant milestone in years of employment, some up to 25 years! A good time had by all, punctuated by a feeling of a job well done, resulted in enough handshakes, high-fives and smiles to go around for another 100 years!
